I also release demos every now and then on Soundcloud, and will be releasing more stuff soon on band camp, which I’m planning on making my primary platform from now on.

A little bit about these three songs and the EP

Coalesce, means coming together. Being my first EP, I wanted to showcase who I am to my future listeners. The songs in the EP are emotional, dramatic, fun, but also warm and calming. They were all recorded live with my wonderful band and friends! Shout out to Chris, Mallikah, Gracie, Laís, Roxy, Big and Lil Nat and Mase!

Home (For Paati): This song started the day my paati, my grandma, passed away. It’s a last call to her, a last little conversation asking her to make me that gajra, sit and have a coffee with me while we play rummy, before she goes for her afternoon nap.

Broken Bridges: Took me almost three years to write! Multiple versions, multiple re-writes and multiple f* its later, here we are. It was a difficult one to write and the lyrics speak for themself, I think. It’s about trying to salvage a relationship you feel is breaking, one you really really don’t want breaking, but it’s also hurting too much. (It didn’t break guys! And I can’t be happier about that!)

(Won’t) Shoot Myself: I love brackets in my song names, don’t I XD This is my favourite one of all, I think. It was originally written about the word prompt: Gun Crimes. My tutor made me realise, however, that it wasn’t just a fun song! It’s about having multiple versions of your personality for different friend groups/family, but not changing who you are at your core… Oh my my, look at me being all philosophical!!
